LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Studio V Leadership Academy is designed for students who want to grow as leaders both inside and outside the studio. Through interactive lessons, service projects, mentoring, and hands-on experiences, students will develop skills that will help them succeed in dance, school, future careers, and their communities.
Leadership Academy is open to students who are ready to challenge themselves, build confidence, and make a positive impact on those around them.
Students will develop skills in:
- Leadership and teamwork
- Communication
- Goal setting
- Responsibility and professionalism
- Problem solving
- Time management
- Organization
- Mentoring younger students
- Serving their community
Throughout the program, students will:
- Participate in leadership workshops
- Complete service projects
- Build confidence through real-life leadership experiences
- Learn how to encourage and inspire others
- Strengthen friendships and teamwork
- Celebrate personal growth and achievements
Opportunities
Students who demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and readiness may have opportunities to:
- Assist younger classes
- Mentor newer dancers
- Participate in studio events
- Pursue future teaching opportunities
- Take on additional leadership roles within Studio V
Assisting and teaching are opportunities available to Leadership Academy students—they are not required and are only one part of the program.
